Dude looks like a lady
Aug. 6th, 2003 12:29 pmOK, so I'm not a dude. But I seldom look like a lady. I don't wear skirts, make-up, heels, or pink.
Today, however, I bought a dress. It's gotten hot enough here (30+ degrees Celsius, which is a lot by Dutch standards) for me to want one.
And I am jazzed! It's a long white sleeveless summer dress, a linen/cotton blend, and I got it for 7 euros at the biggest market in the Hague. Best bargain in months. I could also have bought a white tulle hat to complete the ensemble, but I decided that was pushing it.
