Wherein a Saint drops by
Dec. 5th, 2005 05:59 pmHappy Sinterklaas, everyone! Alas, once again he didn't take me to Spain this year. I must not have been bad enough. But he did leave me some yummy things in my shoe, yay!
For the vidders on my friends list, or anyone who likes to listen to new and often alternative music, I want to point you to De Luisterpaal. This is part of the Dutch VPRO TV/radio station, and on this site they select about twenty albums that have just come out and stream them. You can play the whole album, switch tracks, go to the next, etcetera. It's a great way of trying out some new music, and they change the set list every week.
Right now they've got albums by Talib Kweli (rap), Slipknot (um...noise?), Yonderboi (poppy), Deep Blue (lounge? really, I suck at these labels), Roman (German wave) and a lot of other stuff. Recommended, unless you're on dialup.
