It's a writer's worst nightmare: a Hollywood agent with a blog.

It's called Query Letters I Love and it is hysterical. I live for this stuff.
Yes, she and the other survivors realized, this was the apocalypse, and they were going to be eaten by the swarm of lawyer zombies driven by their bloodlust to eat live flesh and reorganize files.
She's a math genius, cheerleading failure and Satan's first ever replacement.
It’s up to Steve Miller, an engineer at Titan, and his buddies, who play for Titan’s basketball team to stop the evil midgets.
The year is 3126 and a cataclysm three centuries ago had caused a dark age. Whether this is good or bad is open to opinion.
The protagonist's challenges throughout the story are:
1) A seagull attack gave him Seagull Herpes, an incurable disease that will soon kill him.
2) The seagull attack also tore a bone within his calf in two. His best medicines are herbs and acupuncture, so the bone never fully heals, and it causes internal bleeding for him to walk. The story involves him running a lot.
3) He has to save his continent from a thing that is destroying it.

I'm screencapping Two Men And A Baby, and I keep rewatching Iolaus. Doing...

Well. Doing this. (.avi, 194 Kb, it's a short clip. DivX 5.1 codec.)
ETA: If you have trouble playing the file linked to above, please try this version instead. (.avi, 1.490 Kb, Cinepak)

He's just fought a bunch of goons while floating in the air, and I think the idea is that it's left him a little unbalanced. (There is a telekinetic baby halfgod involved. Aren't you glad you asked?) However, a more likely explanation is that Michael Hurst is a loon. *g*

[livejournal.com profile] elke_tanzer has been watching Hercules: the Legendary Journeys, yay! I love it when my fandom shows up on my friendslist in unexpected places.

There's an interesting discussion going on in the comments, touching on such things as Atalanta/Xena slash (does it exist?), Hercules as a Disney princess, the shirtless clause in Kevin Sorbo's contract, and questions like: which episodes are the good ones? Which are cheesy? Where are the fic archives?

I'm encouraging every H:tLJ on my flist to go pimp their favorite pairings/sites/episodes. New people! Whee! *g*

Elke also asked: "Where are the good Herc/Iolaus communities on LJ?" And of course, there aren't any. It got me thinking: why not? Would you be interested? Or would it be a place where we'd just crosspost everything Herc-related from our own journals, because we were posting it there anyway? That, we don't need. But I like the idea of having something a bit more visible than just a bunch of people with 'Iolaus' in their interests, and of having a place set aside for discussion of Hercules/Iolaus gen and slash; it could also be a place to collect links and recommendations, instead of spreading them out across various journals. What do you think?
