Even in 400 BC

Look what I found: a golden Etruscan medallion from around 400 BC featuring Hercules and Iolaus. Unfortunately, Iolaus' face has been smushed. But Hercules has well-defined abs and chest, not to mention a heroically huge nose. And is Iolaus wearing articulated shoulder armor? Did the Etruscans even have articulated armor?
I am so clueless.
On the other hand, I am very sure that Hercules' hand is on Iolaus' thigh.

My favorite real Iolaus link is this one (http://www.csad.ox.ac.uk/POxy/VExhibition/3010.htm) which is to a fragment of papyrus from the second century AD with a story written in the Greek comic novel tradition. Oh, if it were only all there.
