So, in a flyer from Forbidden Planet, the UK collectibles store, they announce a new action figure of Jareth, the Goblin King from Labyrinth.

Now, this isn't the first Jareth action figure I've seen, but the previous one was three times as expensive and looked like ass.

This one? Looks pretty damn cool. I'm not crazy about the hair, but the costume is fantastic, so is the snarky look, and they've obviously paid proper attention to The Area. Plus, he "includes interchangeable hands, a crystal ball, and a little goblin figure accessory."

I'm going to put in a pre-order for this and squee like a happy fangirl. Yay!

Or as my SO put it, "Aw, they know you exist!"

Exactly.

According to Forbidden Planet, the figure will arrive on the 14th of May and cost £9.99, and US store Entertainment Earth thinks it's coming in April and has it listed at $15.99.

Me too! I've got about fifteen different windows open, trying to decide whether to pre-order him from a Dutch, US or UK store.

I hope they go on to do action figures for Sarah and the goblins, that would be fantastic.

I was amused that the old one couldn't be ordered because the company went out of business. There is some justice in the world. Heeheeheehee.

Ah. . .the eighties hair. How I don't miss it!

Yeah, they totally deserved to go out of business. That figure looks like they took a bad Spock doll and stuck a wig on it.
