Some distraction would be good right now, if only to keep me from worrying that the roof will blow off the house. Ask me for stories, vids, icons,screencaps, or whatever you think I should be doing instead. *g*

The 'Tell Me What to Create' AnonyMeme!
The rules are simple. You comment with your username, and people can tell you what they want to see you write. Or draw, or vid, or icon, whatever. Despite the name, they don't have to do it anonymously, though of course they certainly can. You then go through the comments and if you see that person who you've always wanted to write a Green Arrow AU set in the Terror, where Ollie is a Scarlet Pimpernel-esque figure, smuggling people out of Paris, then you tell them that they should write it.

Artists/writers/vidders are under no obligation to actually create these things, of course. But those memes are always fun when they go 'round and, well, I don't know about you, but I have no shame left and am fully willing to call a spade a spade: TELL ME WHAT TO WRITE, PLEASE!

Dude, you too huh? Our flat seems pretty safe, all the trees that were going to, snapped during that storm three years ago, and nothing has blown of the roof yet, today. But the husband is stuck in your town, staying with a colleague (still on his way there, actually) and I'm tense and worried. *worries more, in the hope it helps somehow*

Husband has reported in, he's safely ensconced in what he calls a concrete bunker. I think he's referring to a suburban semi-detached, but you know. Concrete good, at this point. So now I have some braincells left to think about what I think you should write. :)

I am so torn about this meme. On the one hand, I'm so curious about what people would say! on the other hand, it's not as though I don't have story ideas of my own that I'm not writing, and I never do what people tell me, anyway...

I too have stories I'm not writing, and I'm not generally good at following directions, but it makes me happy to know that people want me to do anything at all, and also they come up with really neat things. *g*
