In my previous post, I asked if anyone knew the name of Nebula's ship in Hercules: the Legendary Journeys; I had found one fanfic wherein it's called the Dauntless, but I didn't know if that was canon or fanon.

barbaraa pointed me to Web of Desire, the episode that introduces Nebula. I haven't been able to rewatch the ep yet (a pity, because I want to screencap it too) but I checked the episode transcript at Whoosh.org. Here's the relevant quote, reformatted to take out all those annoying dashes:

“Well, in that case, I’m Nebula, captain of the Leviathan. And you boys have come to the wrong place at the wrong time.”

Of course, I still haven't checked if this was the same ship used in War Wounds or in season Five.

Okay, that does ring a bell. But I can't remember if it's the same ship.

I remember seeing a web page ~somewhere~ that mentioned the different ships, but I'll be darned if I can remember where. Or maybe it was just a figment of my imagination.

And, responding to myself, if this *is* accurate, then it's not the same ship.
I: “So, what happened to your ship?”
Neb: “The hurricane set it adrift. It’s at the bottom of the
sea by now.”

So they must end up leaving on the damaged ship that H&I arrived on. Which means that I/H/N thing might just possibly work after all! :->

And I've gotta say, reading these transcripts can be pretty funny (only slightly trimmed):
H: “Ah-h-h-h-h!”
Neb: “Ye-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-- hah! Hah!”
Ah. “Ah-h! Ah-h!”
H: “Ah!”
Neb: “Ah!”
I: “Ho. Ha-ha. Hey.”

Damn, now I really need to rewatch the episode. But that sounds plausible. As the H/I/N thing is also beginning to. *g*

I swear I can hear Iolaus doing that "Ho. Ha-ha. Hey" thing in my head now...

And unfortunately, the Iolaus line to me sound like Daffy Duck when he's doing his Robin Hood thang with the quarterstaff. :->
