Yes, I really like The Catch Trap! It's definitely fraught, and sometimes I want to kick Matt in the nuts, and yet I really enjoy the book. The circus worldbuilding is just so stellar, I get swept up in it every time.
Also, remember "Bart Reeder" from the book, the gay moviestar who stars in the movie about the Fratellis? If he's not based on Burt Lancaster I'd be surprised.
Also, re: waiting to find Trapeze, there are these downloads that fell off the truck by accident, and I hear Dorinda's also willing to hook people up with a DVD version. :-)
