Oh, most definitely. All those prison workouts seem ominous for whoever's in his way. *g* I love all the characters, but Iroh is still my very favorite.
My belief is that a lot of this issue is related to the spirit world in some way, and that the four friends (five, once Zuko is a part of it) are replaying something that's happened before on a much grander scale.
Oooooo. That's something I hadn't considered, but it only makes sense that the spirit world has a part in the larger plot. Interesting.
