I submitted this show idea, and it made it in, yay:
Can't Live with 'Em, Can't Trade 'Em for Food
Showcasing funny vids about relationships - slash, het, multiple, friendship, enmity or romance, anything goes as long as we can poke affectionate fun at it.
I'm also going to VJ the show. My newbie VVC research tells me that means I'll collect vids that fit the bill, try to make a playlist that is as diverse and fun as possible (i.e. mix up vidders, shows, genre/pairings), contact the vidders for DVD-ready versions of their vids and then try to find the 'play' button at the con. *bounces*
This is one of my favorite kinds of vid, and I can think of some lovely vids that fit the bill, but I think all of YOU can think of more. Please, please suggest a vid for this show.
Anything goes as long as it
a) is about a relationship (m/m, m/f, f/f, alien/alien, hated enemies, lovers, friends, as it says above, anything goes)
b) makes you laugh.
All suggestions very welcome, and you can suggest your own vids too! Please do. I'd particularly like to find some newer, not so well known vidders and/or fandoms for this show. And older vids. And...*flails*
You can even submit a new vid to premiere in my vidshow. If that happens I will probably jump up and down with glee and excitement, so be forewarned: squeeing may occur.
Here is the suggestion form again. Do not be scared of it, if it asks you the name of the vid and you think it's X but aren't sure, just fill in 'X?' or something, even just "that vid where the earth explodes OMGPONIES!!!'. I will do everything I can to find the vid in question. And you can suggest as many vids as you like.
If you have a vid in mind that may have been shown at Vividcon, you can now use the truly fantastic Vividcon Database to find vidder names, vid titles and even fandoms used. Woo!
