I'd Like To Take You To A Gay Barn

To brighten up a gloomy Monday, I've put one of my favorite clips from Hercules: the Legendary Journeys up on SendSpace to download for anyone who wants. It's an .avi file, about 17 Mb, and better quality than you'll find on YouTube, but it'll expire eventually, so don't wait too long. *g*

When I say that it's the barn scene from Maze of the Minotaur, experienced viewers of H:tLJ will need nothing more (though I should perhaps add that it's *both* of the barn scenes, and I edited out the flashback inbetween.) I put this up for people who haven't seen much or any Hercules, and who might like to see one of the slashiest bits in the show.

I can't tell you how much I adore this, and I remember how hard it was to cut out bits of it for my first Iolaus vid. (And how elynross could not believe Iolaus' flirty looks over the winecup were being directed at Hercules. Hee.)

ETA: I think we broke SendThisFile in our enthusiasm, and I've re-uploaded the file to SendSpace, which is an annoying site but has unlimited downloads. The 'MotMexcerptjoined.avi' link is the one you want. (Yes, I seriously suck at naming files. Ahem.)

¹IIRC, he did the same thing when they were drinking with Xena at one point, except then he was leaning shoulder to shoulder with Herc, too.

H:tLJ is one of those series that I have and keep meaning to watch but haven't gotten around to yet, so this was all new to me. I'd just like to point out how very very much more interesting it is when you watch it with the sound off (which I did, 'cause I'm at work) and supply your own dialogue. *g*

Project for the weekend: Get out Hercules DVDs and start watching!

Alas, I would be happy to upload the Maze file for you, but I can't find the damn thing - I searched all of my drives and nada. I think I may have deleted it to make room for vidsource.

I don't have time right now to re-rip the episode, re-edit and re-encode it, but maybe one of the downloaders still has it. *crosses fingers*
