An exceedingly kind, generous and anonymous person has kicked my journal up into paid status. Eeee!
Thank you very much!
I feel like Cat from Red Dwarf with a new shiny thing.

Date: 2003-09-20 07:40 am (UTC)Hey, I just sent you an email and I forgot to give you the gossip I just heard. Davis-Panser, the Xena/Hercules store, was actually telling people in their telemarketing that the Hercules DVDs they were selling were "European" versions with extra scenes, or had hours of extra material. Sheesh. The only one I've heard of yet with real extra material is the Best Buy sets that have the short interview disk thingy.

As to the gossip: Sheesh. What a bunch of losers. I realize that 'European' is the codeword for Cool Things (heheh) but that's just ridiculous. The H:tLJ sets haven't even shown up here yet, and if they do I bet they're the same as the US ones. (I rather doubt they will, actually: the series was shown here between five and six p.m., so it never got all that much attention, and Xena was far more popular in any case.)
