I think Victor/Victoria is possibly my favorite movie to watch when I'm sick. I adore this movie, and it's so comforting to watch the bits where Victoria deals with Toddy's cold and Toddy deals with Victoria's disastrous wardrobe. Especially the bit where they sit on the rim of the bathtub, dangling their feet in the hot water, and tell each other their life stories inbetween sneezes.

V: How long have you been homosexual?
T: ...How long have you been a soprano?
V: Since I was 12.
T: I was a late bloomer.

V: Have anybody to take care of you?
T: lt's only a cold.
V: A cold tonight could be pneumonia by the morning.
T: Are you sure your husband was a hypochondriac before he married you?

(Don't worry, it is only a cold and I do have someone. I just love the quote. *g*)

I love that movie! It's one of my favorites. My friend Nancy and I nearly had a chance to see the stage version with Julie Andrews, but it was right before she had to quit because of the problems with her voice, so we had to see it with the understudy instead.

Hee, yours is the best icon for how I feel. Never mind that Iolaus' day was a lot tougher than mine...*g*

And what a pity that you never got to see Andrews in the stage version (and more pity about her voice, of course). I never did either, and it would have been such an experience!

I love this movie too. So many great lines and moments. (Well, Greta, I think she's divine.)
