There are apparently plans to revive/reboot XWP, with Sam Raimi on board. I view these plans with great dubiousness; Hollywood is trying its hardest to just reboot everything, and I doubt they can do it right twice. Especially since IMO, the only way to reboot it properly would be to make Xena and Gabrielle an established lesbian couple instead of all the wink-wink-nudge-nudge of the '90s.
