Fevre dreams
Sep. 16th, 2005 11:13 pmWhen I get overheated or feverish or whatever at night, I get weird dreams. But not always bad ones. SO dreamed about zombies (They came from a fridge full of rotten meat! I find that a completely convincing detail).
I dreamed about a book that was a Hercules fanzine, except it was
a) a beautifully bound book with a silver embossed cover (it had Iolaus' manaia on it, and a hydra motif around the edges)
b) filled with stories, illos and comic strips by pro writers and artists.
It had a Hercules & Iolaus comic strip by Goscinny and Uderzo, of Astérix fame. And of course, I had just started reading it...and woke up.
And I realized that the Goscinny & Uderzo part did make sense, sort of. A not-exactly-tall, smartass blond swordsman and a really big, easy-going, freakishly strong guy who are best friends and have adventures together? Gee, that wouldn't have been so tough for them to write or draw...
I still want to read the rest of the book. Dammit.
