One volunteer, coming up

I think fan_the_vote is a fabulous idea. Basically, it's a community where fans volunteer fannish efforts - fic, vids, graphics, betas, site design and so on - for money to be donated to a good cause, i.e. getting Bush out of the White House.

(OK, OK, to be precise: to Kerry for President or to Moveon.org or, for international fen, to other causes who are trying to undo some of the damage, such as the Red Cross or Amnesty International.)

I've been thinking hard what to volunteer for this. I won't do fic, since I'm overcommitted on fic as it is, but how about this?

I'll make Hercules: the Legendary Journeys icons, to be used exclusively by you if you want, for $1 a pop, or $2 for an animated icon. Most of my icons are here, the ones I'm using right now are here. You can supply picture and text, or you can give me an idea ("Autolycus stroking his moustache, in sepia", "Iolaus looking manic") and I'll see what I can do. I'm not good at witty captions, so you'll have to supply those yourself.

I'll screencap Hercules: the Legendary Journeys, from the first three seasons (since that's all I have DVDs for), for $5. That's approximately a hundred sharp & non-blurred screencaps, to your specifications - it doesn't have to be a recap of an episode. If you want 100 shots of Ares looking hot (which, let's face it, is his default look *g*), I'll do that for you. If you only want shots of Aphrodite or Salmoneus or fight scenes or stunt guys in weird wigs, I'm at your service. The screencaps will look just like this one, 720x480, unless you want them in a different size. (Be aware, though, that larger sizes will just blow up the images and make them blurrier, since the original TV images are 720x480. Smaller sizes are no problem.)
