Woohoo!

OK, for anyone who somehow missed it, the [livejournal.com profile] yuletide Obscure Fandom Secret Santa challenge has now posted the names of all the authors on the Yuletide challenge archive. I'll be hunting down a lot of new, unfamiliar, wonderful authors after today.

And I've updated my site with the stories I wrote for the challenge:

This Way To The Egress (Discworld, rated G)
For Djelibeybi, a Discworld story featuring the Nac Mac Feegle, Death, and general mayhem. Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] elynross, [livejournal.com profile] halimede and [livejournal.com profile] therienne for beta'ing, Highlander quotes and encouragement, and the Online Scots Dictionary and Scottish Vernacular Dictionary for saving my butt. *g*

Slings And Arrows (Hercules: the Legendary Journeys, rated PG)
For [livejournal.com profile] ltlj, a Hercules/Iolaus story set after the episode Not Fade Away. Again, so much thanks to [livejournal.com profile] elynross, [livejournal.com profile] falzalot, [livejournal.com profile] halimede and [livejournal.com profile] therienne for very speedy betas.

Yesterday when I found these new Hercules stories I was so happy! I really enjoyed yours. It was touching that they had a tree house and revisited it as adults. You write Hercules and Iolaus and their devotion to each other so very well. Thank you.

Thanks for those very kind words, Tol! I'm glad you enjoyed 'Slings And Arrows'.

Heh. That was something I stole from [livejournal.com profile] ltlj's own H:tLJ fanon, mainly When Hellmouths Collide (http://www.ltljverse.com/index2.htm). I just couldn't resist.

That was completely unexpected! *g* I was only able to guess that author of Slings and Arrows was familiar with LtLJ site but not that it was you!

Ha! That's great. I love the guessing and the mystery of the yuletide challenge. *g*
And thanks for leaving feedback on my story earlier - I appreciate it very much.
