A quick update and more Gmail invites
Huh. Looks like Google really does plan to take over the world. I thought I'd given them all away, but today I got six more Gmail invites. Comment below with your email addy if you want one, or mail me at marycrawford at livejournal dot com.
Fannish progress: Still working on the HXFQF story, which is turning into a weird hybrid between a proper story and a PWP. Also still working on the first vid, by fits and starts. I wonder, if I flip a brief closeup horizontally so that someone's face now looks to the left instead of to the right, will anyone notice? And what about an action shot?
Running progress: Third day of running today, wherein it was established that I can run for 2x2 minutes, with a 2 minute walk in between. This does not seem like a lot, especially when you consider that we were supposed to be able to maintain a conversation at the same time - i.e. not running full speed, just a gentle jog - and that I was panting like mad by the fourth minute. But I expect great things.

Have you checked out the Couch to 5K (http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml) plan? There might be some info there that will help you. Don't expect everything to happen overnight!

And no, I definitely don't expect things to happen overnight. If I really can manage 3 km in six weeks, I'll be thrilled; but the program is for absolute beginners, and the trainer has promised to adapt the schedule he gives us to what he thinks we can handle, so I'm not worried that I'm overdoing it. Just amazed that two minutes of running sounds like so little and feels like so much. :-)

I'm beginning to think Google invites are actually breeding in my mailbox.

And I love that icon, too.
