Gmail yay

Thanks to the kindness of elynross, I now have a Google mail account with 1Gb storage. Even though Gmail is still in beta and requires invitations to join (when I get my own invites to distribute, I'll post here), it's evidently spreading like wildfire despite the 'Gmail is evil' brouhaha: quite a few of the less common usernames I tried, including marycrawford, were already taken. Since I won't be using it for anything but fannish stuff, I went for intercrural at gmail dot com.

falzalot has already requested, very sensibly, that I not email her work address from this account. This was cause for sadness until we realized that I do not, in fact, have her work address. *g*

I admit I didn't realize that would be a problem when I chose the name, so if anyone else has a similar request, please let me know. Oh, and all my other addys still work, too. This is just a nifty new toy and backup space.
