Incoming stories!

Woohoo! Two new gen Angela Field stories, one Young Hercules and one H:tLJ, have been posted on Heroes' Path.

I haven't read them yet, what with having to make wordcount goals etc; instead I'm hiding them for later like a stash of chocolate. But I'm recommending them anyway, because I've never read a story of hers that I didn't like. Fast-moving adventure and/or humor plots, a great handle on Hercules and Iolaus, well-realized original/non-canon characters (I love her ingenuously innocent Pegasus and sly Hermes) and just the right amount of angst on occasion. Yum.

I just read some of her stuff yesterday for the first time. Well, we had a power outage at work, so got to go home early, and what else was I going to do? Clean house? :-> And I finally watched 'Les Contemptibles' on Sunday, so it only made sense to read Les Magnifique and The Return of Les Magnifique while it was all fresh in my brain.

Was Hermes in any of the episodes? I sure don't remember anybody lusting after Iolaus quite that much. :->

Well, that's open for debate. *g*

No, I think Hermes was only briefly shown in one ep (Porkules?), where Iolaus and Autolycus conspire to steal his sandals, and there he was a fat elderly guy with a penchant for nubile women, as far as I can remember.

Yay! That's improved an incredibly lousy day.

Hmmmm...I just looked at her site this morning and there were no updates then. Must have just happened right after! lol

Off I go to read though I should be in bed since I need to be up for work at 4:30 am.
