One of the great things about H:tLJ is that Mr. Sorbo and Mr. Hurst knew about the "real" Hercules and were more than willing to play with the "subtext." Unlike in Zener, though, it was fun and just there, no big deal. I think I remember an interview with Mr. Sorbo saying that they joked about the "Untold Journeys." Ah, slashy subtext all over the place. . .Ares did it, too. Watch his twist Deimos' nipples some time. . .
