H:tLJ Season Four info

I haven't even seen the Season 3 DVDs yet, but here is some info on what's on the Season 4 set from Sharon at Creation Enterprises, gacked from Caroline W's post on GoldApple. Text by Sharon, bolded and squee'd over by moi.

Hercules Season 4

  • Beanstalks And Bad Eggs -- interviews with Kevin Sorbo, Eric Gruendemann

  • Hero's Heart -- audio commentary by Michael Hurst
Eeeeee! I'd buy the set just for this episode commentary. Badass!Iolaus. Be still my heart.

  • Web Of Desire -- possible audio commentary, not sure by who

  • Stranger In A Strange World -- interviews with Kevin & Michael, Paul Robert Coyle, Michael Levine

  • And Fancy Free -- audio commentary by Kevin & Michael
Woohoo! This is going to be a riot and a half. Can't wait to hear their thoughts on the Widow Twankey.

  • If I Had A Hammer -- interviews with Paul Robert Coyle, Eric Gruendemann

  • Hercules On Trial -- interviews with Kevin & Michael, Robert Bielak

  • Armageddon Now I & II -- interviews with Hudson Leick, Paul Robert Coyle, Noreen Tobin & Gene O'Neill

  • Yes Virginia, There Is A Hercules -- audio commentary by Michael Hurst & Eric Gruendemann

  • Porkules -- interviews with Kevin & Michael, Rob Tapert

  • Twilight -- interviews with Kevin, Phillip Sgriccia, Noreen Tobin & Gene O'Neill

  • Reunions -- interviews with Kevin & Michael, Rob Tapert

NOTE: Ted Raimi and Bruce Campbell filmed a Q&A session on their own covering Yes, Virginia There Is A Hercules, Porkules

The other good news of the day is that I got a DVD in the mail - a very kind fan made me a copy of "Men Behind the Myth" from the first season set, which I missed out on. Woohoo again!

Wow. This so makes me want to go out and spend money!!!

Oh yeah, it's going to be a very expensive year. (Herc seasons 3, 4, 5 and 6, LOTR:ROTK, Starsky & Hutch season 1, Northern Exposure season 1...)

Thanks for posting this! Pretty impressive, considering so many DVD sets are released without *any* commentary or extras whatsoever. I can't wait. :-)

Oh, I agree - but I admit that I would've groused nonetheless if there hadn't been any Michael Hurst extras. *g*
Instead, I'm *so* pleased that he's doing commentary on Hero's Heart. I just about wore out my videotape of that episode. Mmm.

Hero's Heart is good. I also finally got to watch The Lost City. Man, he looked sooooo good in that fight scene (yeah, I know you thought I was going to say in those silk-like jammies, right? That goes without saying.)

But what I want to know is: if he escaped from the city in the jammies, and it collapsed...why isn't he out fighting in later episodes in those same blue jammies? I know, he's like Herc, he has a wardrobe that's full of patched purple vests and black leather pants. Oh, and let's not forget that he didn't have his medallion either.

LOL! Oh, indeed. And Lost City is an ep that I don't have on tape, so I can't wait to see it again. I promised [livejournal.com profile] ltlj I'd make screencaps of Iolaus in his harem boy outfit - and of the fight too, if I can get caps that aren't blurred. (Now I know why the bad guys are always going "Stand still, dammit!" *g*)

Good point about Iolaus' wardrobe. One does wonder if Ania spent all her time sewing him extra vests. OTOH, it does mean that he still has the silk outfit. Mmm. I smell possibilities...

Someone wrote a story that had a brief mention of that 'harem' outfit. Something to do with Hercules mentioning them, Iolaus saying he got rid of them, and Herc saying too bad, he liked them. Was it on ltlj?

Hmm, that does sound vaguely familiar, but I have no idea. It could well be on LTLJ.

I thought that only happened in my head. :0

Actually, it sounds a bit like a Naomi line.

Now I'm going to have to go in search for it! lol
