The stories in my head are calling me, calling me

Argh. I've got a Hercules story on the brain and I can't find it online anywhere. I'm sure it must be in the Iolausian Library, but I don't know the author and tend to get lost among the shelves.

It's a gen hurt/comfort story (yes, I run to type, what can I say?) about Herc & Iolaus being seawrecked and ending up on a horrible little island with no food or water. Eventually they manage to make a raft and are picked up, more dead than alive, by some horrified people who saw them leave on their sailing expedition days ago.

Hehehe, when I read this over it sounds almost as generic as the classic Kirk and Spock shelter in a cave and Spock goes into pon farr scenario. I hope someone will know what story I'm talking about, even so.

it sounds like a story by Ceryndip on the IL, where they're on a raft and Hercules is hurt, and Iolaus kills a shark. If that's not the right one, it might fulfill your need while you find the other.

Close, but no cigar

Heh, I read that story just last night, hunting around. Fun stuff, but not the story I mean I think in the story that's in my head, they spend most of the time on this rotten little island, trying to get enough rainwater to survive.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestion :-)

If you find out, let us know. It doesn't ring any bells here.

Hah! Found it!

It's Lost (http://members.aol.com/iolausianforever/story2.html), by Stormcrowe. There's no story summary at the Iolausian Library, that's why it's tough to find.
