TARDIS imminent

The new season of Doctor Who starts on the BBC tomorrow! I can't wait. And it's so clever of them to broadcast it on BBC 1, because my BBC 2 reception is on the fritz.

Saturday 31st, 7 pm British time (which is 8 pm my time, yes this is my note to myself), BBC 1, peoples.

And just look at this awesome picture on the BBC Who homepage, which you can also download hi-res as a desktop background. I love that. Doctor, companion and alien threesome! So to speak.

(There's also a trailer and more pictures and downloads that I'm studiously not looking at, because I cannot stand that much excitement.)

I'd love to, but since Sci fi airs it six months later, CBC isn't broadcasting it a week behind the Beeb any more, and I don't have the bandwidth to download. I'll have to wait either for the CBC or to hit town.

I'm really looking forward to Martha though, she looks very cool.

I won't be watching when it airs (living across the Pond) but I do intend to get my mitts on it just as soon as humanly possible.
