HtLJ screencaps: "Medea Culpa"

Someone running a website for Jacinda Barrett asked me to make a few screencaps of the Hercules: the Legendary Journeys episode 'Medea Culpa', and of Medea in particular. (This is one of the flashback to Young Hercules episodes, and Barrett, a young Australian actress, plays Medea.)

So I did. Except when I say a few, I mean fourteen pages. Oops.

But young Hercules, Iolaus and Jason are really very cute together, and I like the framing scenes with grown-up Hercules, Iolaus and Jason fishing together and teasing each other.


Love this bit:



Young Iolaus: "Shh! Shh!" (cups ear, listens) "It's a woman! She's bathing. Naked."
Young Hercules: "...How does he know?"
Young Iolaus: "It's a gift. Come on!"

Hee hee hee. (Okay, so she isn't naked after all. But as the ever optimistic Iolaus points out, she's naked underneath her clothes...)







I also really like the more serious bit where Iolaus points out to Hercules that it's not always easy to be friends with a guy who is the son of Zeus and has the strength of ten. Hercules asks why he doesn't just walk away, if that's the case (he never did outgrow his petulance *eg*) and Iolaus says "I'm a better man because of you." Aw.




This is also the episode where teenage Hercules gets kissed by a girl who's working for Hera, and saves a little girl who turns out to be Hera.



No wonder the guy's got issues.

And, well, I'm not sure. He does have an earring in this shot, but I don't think he's wearing it in the whole ep. I wouldn't let that stop you from making up your own earring history, though. *g*

(Also, isn't that necklace he's wearing the horoscope sign for Pisces?)

That looks like an ear cuff, though, not an earring. It's not pierced through the lobe, it's just hanging over the fold of his ear.

I concur with ltlj. It's an ear cuff, not an earring. Maybe he was getting a feel for what it'd be like to have something dangling from his ear. *g*

I looked up the necklace and it's the sign for Cancer, not Pisces. Pisces sign looks like an H. He's a summer baby -Cancer is actually right now( June 22-July 22).
