Vid recs: three great Xena vids

I should write more recs. I mean, two of these three vids have been sitting on my hard drive for months. Luckily, they haven't aged any. *g*

New Age Girl, by Rocketchick. This is just a hilarious, affectionate Gabrielle portrait. It makes me grin whenever I watch it. Really well chosen shots, great comedic timing (love Gabrielle hitting Xena in the nose on 'Rrahh', heeee). I found this vid thanks to laurashapiro, who used it in her Character Studies: Women vidshow for Vividcon and then kindly put up the vid list.

Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better, by Jen Stamey. Oh, this works so well. It's funny not just because of the clip choices, but because Xena and Gabrielle really are that competitive. At least, to my mind, but then I have watched A Day In The Life more than any other episode. *g*

Boom Boom Ba, by charmax. I just discovered this vid on the new xena_vids comm, and I really like it. Unlike the other two, this isn't a humour vid, it's a sensual mood piece. Exotic song, exotic visuals, sexy but not schmoopy, and I love the golden/reddish colours and the slow, lush feel of it.
