I started out with 'hey, I kinda want to write a weilan accidental marriage AU' and now it's suddenly the large canon divergent fix-it that everyone in this fandom seems to write at some point and I'm all ???. To be fair, I do want to tell that story so I suspect I'll stick with it, but it's going to take ages, no doubt. And I realised the canon divergence means I have to deal with Ye Zun in some form, which I have, uh, conflicting feelings about let's say.

It really doesn't help that anything I write ends up at least twice as long as I intended it to be. Quick 1k oneshot? 5k. Mid-length 5k romp? 10k. Etc. Works like a charm (sigh).

I'm glad you're resolved, though, because I'm sure I'll love reading whatever comes out at the end as I've loved everything else you've written. So if you ever need someone to motivate you by shouting loudly about how much they love your fic, I happily volunteer!
