Words, words, words
2026 words today. Unlike certain persons who shall remain nameless (cough ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dbw cough), I don't know what the heck I'm doing - I grabbed a McGuffin and a couple of characters and ran. This makes for interesting developments. Where the hell did the fighting griffins come from, frex? They certainly weren't there when I opened up the file.
(I won't be posting my NaNoWriMo stuff, btw. One, because it's a very rough draft and in no fit state to be read, and two, because I'm pretty sure I haven't finished writing my one million words of crap yet, if you know what I mean. And three, it isn't fanfic, and this is my mostly-fannish LJ.)
There is a very nicely done motivational spreadsheet here, if you want to look at graphs of your word count and so on. And Inspiration (free 30-day trial) is a neat programme to create mindmaps & plots with. (You know, with lots of arrows and thought bulbs and things like that. A big sheet of paper and an array of coloured markers work well for this too, of course...)
