I've certainly been in love with several stories where I've had to mentally toss the endings entirely out the window, even though it always makes me sad. But those make me all the more appreciative of canons that wind up beautifully, I guess? ^^;

And regardless of which way Guardian actually goes, you've now given me a yearning for teahouse fic, just so you know. *g*
